SEASON 2020/2021

Dear Ski Legends Members,

Unbelievably another ski season will be soon upon us.

We are all looking for a great season, only this year things are different!

Firstly, there are no PROBUS Ski Legends dues for the 2020/2021 ski season, however, we are pleased to announce that everyone who was a member last year, will be considered a member for the 2020/2021 season, as long as they are also a member of PROBUS.

Your Volunteer Committee has been busy planning this season’s events and adapting to these novel circumstances.

Our members safety is our prime concern and we will be following public health recommendations.

All members and guests must follow All Protocols in place by the Private and Public Ski Resorts and Local Public Health Authorities.  Remember, these protocols could change from time to time, based on situations at the resorts, or changes from the Public health authorities.

We need everyone to understand and take responsibility for their choices. Participation is your decision, and it is your responsibility to understand and adhere to the protocols.

We are pleased to offer again this year our extremely popular program to ski together at Blue Mountain.

If you turn up on Tuesday or Wednesday at the Silver Bullet at 9:30, there may be other like-minded Ski Legends there looking for members to ski with.  Depending on the numbers, we will break up into groups that consider skiers’ levels.  Be aware that Blue has established protocols to keep you as safe as possible and those may change as required.  Make sure you are aware of any changes. Again, the decision to participate is yours.

Reservations without a season pass will be required.

We usually ski for approximately 2 hours and then break for Lunch if this option is available at Blue Mountains.

SKI DAYS at Private Clubs:

We are hoping to offer ski days again this year at the Private Clubs, however, as we are not collecting fees from members this year, we will not have funds to offer $10.00 discounts on ski tickets, or $5.00 vouchers and unfortunately, the private clubs may not offer exchange tickets to private club members.

At this time, we have tentatively booked our first ski date at Craigleith on Thursday January 14th and are working with Craigleith to determine how to meet their requirements for registering and purchasing tickets.  More information will be published closer to the specific date.

Each Club will have specific protocols and rules and we expect that rules and conditions may change.   We will update these on our website as they become available.

In addition to Craigleith, we usually schedule ski days at Devils Glen, Alpine, The Peaks and twice at Osler.  We are working with these clubs and will send out details once we have confirmed bookings.

Check our website for up to date information., or contact our Ski Day Coordinator at

We have unfortunately had to cancel the following activities this season

  • Italy, the Dolomites,
  • Sun Peaks.

  • Wine and Cheese at Skiis and Biikes in December will not happen.  Season sharpening package is available to members. ($150 per set of skis)
  • Breakfast at Blue Mountain had to be cancelled this year.
  • Dinner Dance, see you in 2022

All information for future trips, dates and ticket prices will be updated when available on our website at

See you on the slopes,
